Privacy Policies
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alexander DuMars, PC, doing business as The Kingdom Chiropractic ("TKC," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit thekingdomchiropractic.com (the "Site"). This Policy covers the Site only. It does not cover the protected health information ("PHI") we collect and maintain about our patients as a healthcare provider — that information is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to you separately (in office, through our EHR patient portal, or upon request) and controls in the event of any conflict.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly, such as when you fill out a contact form, request a consultation, or use an online scheduling widget on the Site: your name, phone number, email address, and any message you choose to include.
Information we do not collect on this Site: health history, symptoms, insurance information, or other clinical intake information. Our patient intake forms are hosted on our separate EHR/patient portal, which is linked from this Site but is not part of it. Please do not submit medical history, symptoms, or other protected health information through this Site's contact form, chat widget, or email — save that for your intake paperwork or a direct conversation with our office.
Information collected automatically when you browse the Site, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site, typically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to: respond to inquiries and scheduling requests; send appointment reminders and office communications (by phone, text, or email, based on your consent/preferences); operate, maintain, and improve the Site; understand how visitors use the Site and measure the effectiveness of our marketing; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Text Messaging (SMS) Communications
If you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages from us (for example, through a scheduling form or in-office sign-up), we may send appointment reminders, confirmations, and office communications by text.
-
Consent to receive texts is never shared with or sold to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
-
Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity and interactions with our office.
-
Message and data rates may apply.
-
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for assistance.
-
Carriers, including but not limited to the major U.S. wireless carriers, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
-
Your consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of receiving care or purchasing any service.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Like most websites, this Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including website analytics tools and, if used for marketing, advertising pixels such as those from Google or Meta) to understand Site usage and measure the performance of our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions. This Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no common industry standard for how to interpret them.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share the information described above with:
-
Service providers who help us operate the Site and our practice — for example, our CRM/communications platform (used for scheduling, calls, and texting), our EHR/patient portal provider, our website host, and analytics providers — each acting on our behalf and under obligations to protect your information.
-
Professional advisors (such as attorneys or accountants), as needed.
-
Government authorities or other third parties, when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the safety of any person.
6. Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for adult visitors and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the Site. While The Kingdom Chiropractic provides pediatric chiropractic care, any information about a minor patient is provided to us by a parent or legal guardian through our in-office or patient-portal intake process — never collected directly from a child through this Site. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly through the Site, contact us using the information in Section 10 and we will delete it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information collected through this Site. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain information collected through this Site for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, provide the services requested, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Pennsylvania does not currently have a comprehensive consumer data privacy statute in effect comparable to laws in some other states, so most of the specific rights described below are offered as our own practice rather than a statutory requirement. Regardless, you may contact us at any time to: ask what personal information we have collected about you through this Site, request a copy of it, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete it. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time. If we later become subject to a state privacy law (for example, if legislation is enacted in Pennsylvania, or if we begin doing business in a state with its own consumer privacy law), we will update this section accordingly.
